ASCLD/LAB merges with ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB)
On April 22, 2016, ASCLD/LAB, one of the approved crime laboratory accrediting bodies under Texas Administrative Code § 651.4, merged with the accrediting body ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB). The Texas Forensic Science Commission's rules and website information related to crime laboratory accreditation in Texas will be updated to reflect the merger as soon as practicable.
