In re H.L., No. 02-20-00143-CV (Nov. 12, 2020) (Sudderth, C.J., joined by Gabriel and Wallach, JJ.).

Held: Appellant’s affidavit supporting her petition for grandparent possession or access was insufficient to establish standing under Family Code Section 153.432(c) because she did not allege facts to demonstrate that denial of her possession of or access to the child would “significantly” impair the child’s physical health or emotional well-being, as interpreted by the supreme court in In re Derzapf, 219 S.W.3d 327 (Tex. 2007) (per curiam) (orig. proceeding), and In re Scheller, 325 S.W.3d 640 (Tex. 2010) (per curiam) (orig. proceeding).
