Lovett v. State, Nos. 02-16-00094-CR, 02-16-00095-CR (June 15, 2017) (Kerr, J., joined by Sudderth and Pittman, JJ.).

Held:  Where an officer providing security for a traffic stop instructed Appellant—a bystander filming the stop while carrying a deadly weapon—to disarm, Appellant refused, and the officer arrested Appellant without incident, the court held that (1) the evidence was insufficient to show Appellant intentionally or knowingly displayed his deadly weapon in a manner calculated to alarm but (2) the evidence was sufficient to show Appellant interfered with public duties.
