REBECA HUDDLE TO TAKE OATH FRIDAY
The Texas Supreme Court’s newest justice, Rebeca Aizpuru Huddle, will be sworn in at 10 a.m. Friday by Gov. Greg Abbott. The invitation-only ceremony will be broadcast on the Court’s YouTube channel.
Abbott chose Huddle to replace retiring Justice Paul Green. She is an El Paso native and a graduate of Stanford University and the University of Texas School of Law. Most recently she was managing partner of the Baker Botts law firm’s Houston office.
