Best Practice Standards
In 2016, the Texas Judicial Council approved adoption of the Adult Best Practice Standards Volume 1 & 2 as recommended by the Governor's Specialty Court Advisory Council and as published by All Rise (formerly NADCP). The standards provide guidance for courts to ensure the best possible outcomes.
In 2023, All Rise released the 2nd Edition of the Adult Treatment Court Best Practice Standards, which contains revisions to standards I-VI, VIII, and X. Revisions for standards VII and IX are scheduled to be released in late 2024. These revisions are still being reviewed for recommendations to TCJ, but they are available for reference in the link below.
