Adrian Spears is a 3rd generation Texan who grew up in a family of lawyers and judges which instilled in him a deep respect for the law and an understanding of how it can be used to serve the public good, and a passion for the practice of law.
Mr. Spears dedicated his life to public service and his career is evidence of that fact. After graduating from Texas Tech University and St. Mary’s School of Law, Spears joined a law firm representing governmental entities in complex litigation matters throughout the State of Texas from trial through appeal in both state and federal court. Spears also represented cities in the capacity of municipal court judge, prosecutor and as assistant city attorney of several cities including Boerne, Hondo, Forney, Alpine, and Euless, Texas. In addition to representation of governmental entities, Mr. Spears started his private law practice in 2012 representing private individuals and businesses in various complex litigation matters with an emphasis on election and appellate law. Mr. Spears’s experience representing private individuals, businesses and governmental entities makes him a well-rounded attorney with experience in multiple areas of law and believes firmly that the unbiased and fair application of the law is the foundation of a just and free society.
Mr. Spears has been recognized over the years as one of San Antonio’s Top Attorneys in civil litigation in both the San Antonio Magazine and Scene in S.A. Magazine annual peer survey. He is licensed in all Texas state courts, federal courts, and 5th Circuit Court of Appeals and he is a frequent presenter at legal and continuing legal education seminars. Mr. Spears is married to his wife of over 20 years, Misty Spears. They have three daughters and are members of Summit Church.
