1901 Nw. 28th St. Tr. v. Lillian Wilson, LLC, No. 02-16-00452-CV (Oct. 26, 2017) (Meier, J., joined by Walker and Gabriel, JJ.).
Held: The trial court did not abuse its discretion by declaring Yammine a vexatious litigant. The tax lien that Tarrant County transferred to Lillian Wilson attached to the Property before Yammine conveyed the Property to his brother. And in determining whether Lillian Wilson met its burden under civil practice and remedies code section 11.054(1)(A), the trial court could have relied upon a cause that had been dismissed and several causes that Yammine had filed pro se and as a counter-plaintiff.
