AUSTIN — The Supreme Court has given preliminary approval to rules for Texas' new Business Court and has preliminarily amended the Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure related to the new 15th Court of Appeals. Find links to the orders below.
Preliminary Approval of Rules for the Business Court
Both courts were created by the 88th Legislature and the Court was charged with promulgating rules for their operation. The Supreme Court Advisory Committee studied and developed the preliminary rules, which are now open for public comment until May 1, 2024.
